Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--3.6, 1.3; BglII--4.9; BglII/SmaI--4.9. Should be grown in media containing ampicillin at a final concentration of 1 mg/ml to improve plasmid yields. May be used in essentially all cultured cells in transient transfection assays, to establish permanent cell lines and to construct transgenic mice. This vector contains a translational enhancer in the sequence prior to the polylinker. |
