Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--4.97; EcoRI--2.87, 2.1; HindIII--4.97; PstI--4.0, 0.6, 0.34; XbaI--4.97. This is a full-length cDNA clone. Analysis of deduced amino acid sequence indicates this protein belongs to the superfamily of trans-acting transcriptional regulatory factors and is more closely related to the thyroid hormone receptor than the other receptors. Contains the coding region for the human vitamin D receptor. |
